West Port Said Container Terminal receives the first ship with draft 15.5 m.__ Mar 2019

Continuing the development plan adopted by PSCCHC management and its endeavors to attract larger containers vessels to call West Port Said Container Terminal, especially after completion of deepening alongside the container quay to reach 15.5m draft & length up to 370m to turn in front of West Port Said container quay ,it has received M/V “MSC SINDY” on Friday, March 22nd 2019, belonging to MSC shipping line. The vessel berthed alongside the terminal quay at 17:45Hrs and handled 1022 Box (Discharge / Loading).

This comes in the context of the company's comprehensive development for the terminal quays and the handling equipment system and increase the terminal yards area by adding the new yard (172000 m2), thus increasing the competitiveness of the container terminal and dealing with the new generations of containers vessels.
